Ventech  is the internationally recognized leader for plant relocations, having moved more refineries (often from one continent to another) than any other company in the world.  Our engineering, surplus equipment and construction divisions are experienced in match marking, dismantling, loading, and shipping complete process units.   We will re-engineer, refurbish, and re-erect the facilities for new operations, using both new and surplus equipment.

  Advantages of Refinery Relocation

·         Re-engineering efforts may be done faster than original design.  This saves tremendously on working man-hours, allowing time and money ordinarily spent in design and development to be re-allocated, resulting in lower construction costs.

·         Site preparation and civil/foundation construction design is released for construction much earlier.  Foundations re-design incorporates different geotechnical constraints.  The equipment footprints remain identical to the original design.

·         Major equipment and materials can be available on site at a much earlier date.  Since the majority of the process equipment is already fabricated, there is a dramatic decrease in the time usually allotted to new equipment deliveries, thus plant erection can begin at a much earlier date.

·         Bulk materials and equipment can be ordered earlier and available on site with major equipment.  Materials such as structural steel, conduit, and piping can be ordered much earlier, resulting in a faster project schedule.

·         Overall project plan is reduced and the plant can be in operation months earlier.  Operating revenue from early startup represents the largest cost savings advantage of refinery relocation.  Financing costs are also reduced.
