Civil/Structural Engineer

  • Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria, using independent judgment in making adaptations and modifications.
  • Assist with layout of equipment to account for structural supports and foundations.
  • Analyze structural stability of systems and size members as required. Provide engineering sketches of structures for drafting.
  • Assist in procurement of equipment and materials required for job completion.
  • Redesign existing structural steel, as required, due to equipment modification and relocation.
  • Conceptualize and/or lead scoping and design development phases of projects. Evaluate options, provide input on designs and project execution methods and develop required work products to support the above.
  • Contribute to overall stability and performance of plant systems.
  • Conduct surveys to gather field data.
  • Supervise the preparation and interpretation of blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts and other visual aids to project civil structural work.
  • Prepare technical construction specifications.
  • Manage project issues, budgets, and schedules to civil structural requirements.
  • Review and critique proposed changes to engineering standards, policies, or details.
  • Review development plans for compliance with adopted engineering standards and good engineering practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or/and Structural Engineering along with 10-15 years of EPC experience as Civil/Structural Engineer.
