Project Managers

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements of the project.
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities to attain them.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects and scope of a project.
  • Reviews project deliverables prepared by project team before passing to client.
  • Effectively applies Company project methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Minimizes the Company exposure and risk on the project.
  • Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting team hours and expenses on a weekly basis.
  • Manages the project budget.
  • Analyzes project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates and utilization.
  • Facilitates project team and client meeting effectively.
  • Hold regular status meetings with project team.
  • Manages the development of the project team by ensuring, when possible, that project, that project tasks are in line with each team members abilities.
  • Acknowledges and recognizes each team member’s contributions.
  • Sets and manages client expectations by developing lasting relationships with client personnel that foster good client ties.
  • Complies with and helps to enforce standard policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master’s degree preferred.
  • Ten to twelve years of project engineering and systems engineering and systems engineering design experience and three to five years of project management experience.
  • Must understand basic project revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and be able to make decisions accordingly.
