Senior Operations Manager

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To be responsible for meeting budgeted revenue and revenue targets
  • To manage and develop strategies to promote Company Operations Division into a world-class provider of Engineering services
  • To ensure Alabang engineering deliverables are meeting the necessary quality standards and schedule constraints
  • To supervise the planning, direction and coordination of the overall functioning of the Engineering services, & to ensure drawings conform to design requirements
  • To co-ordinate with Pasadena office ensuring that their project objectives are met
  • To produce a definitive departmental business plan in conjunction with Business Development Personnel to ensure Company strategic objectives are met
  • To source graduate Engineers to progressively develop for back up and senior staff positions and evaluate incumbent staff for ongoing development, reallocation and or replacement
  • To initiate evaluation and training programs for all personnel in order to meet Company business objectives and broaden individual and company skills base for succession planning and career development
  • To encourage and promote effective two way communication at all levels to ensure all personnel are aware of departmental and Company objectives and possible constraints
  • To form close working alliances with all support departments and supply advance information on all forthcoming projected and identified resource requirements
  • To monitor and control the budget and budget-awareness within the department to ensure objectives are met within agreed limits
  • To maintain awareness of new technologies and products that will increase the efficiency of the department and continuously devise and improve methods to stay ahead of the competition
  • To develop a professional and open relationship with clients whilst ensuring the interests of the Company are protected and to actively pursue the broadening of Company client base

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Knowledge of Project Controls
  • Planning Skills
  • Safety Rules and Regulations
  • 16 to 25 years of Work experience as an Engineer with experience in Project Management, Procurement, Tendering, Project Controls, Safety, Planning, etc
