The diesel is frequently used by remote oil producers for power generation and oil production. Diesel Production Units capable of producing as little as 50 barrels of diesel a day for use onsite.

Diesel production units can often be installed and brought online in less than two weeks after arrival at any site. They require minimal in-field welding and can be erected with standard oilfield equipment. Their simplified, compact design also means it is easy to relocate the unit from one site to another without difficulty.
